Hi, unfortunately, I cant keep the logo on the AOD mode. The new Virtual Cockpit version removes the logo in AOD more then displays the previously selected logo when the watch face wakes up. The logo "touch area" is smaller and slightly trickier to change now, so hopefully you won't catch the logo and switch it accidentally.

According to my experience, the difference is only in terms, i.e. the term AOD is used in designing watch faces using Gear Watch Designer and the term ambient mode is used in making watch applications using Tizen SDK. Third-party Watchfaces AOD Mode solution. I found a solution how the third party watchfaces work again in AOD mode. Open the Wearable app, go to the watch settings, open the Apps tab, look for the appropriate program that your watch face is running on, tap on it and activate the Allow background activity switch. You can use Gear Watch Designer to make your own faces to your choosing. That's what I ended up doing when I couldn't find a face I liked. My sticking point was mostly the AOD, I prefer a simple time only AOD.

The AOD on my Gear S3, after it goes into dim mode, will totally turn off the screen after a few seconds. I DO see the dimmed/alternate screen for a few seconds before the watch screen turns off.
